The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:10 P.M.
North Las Vegas police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Cheyenne Avenue. Initial reports had the pedestrian at fault for the collision but was also expected to survive the impact.

1 P.M.
15-year-old male student at Desert Oasis High School arrested approximately 8:30a.m. after being heard making a threat against the school. Several firearms were confiscated from student's home. A message was sent to parents about the arrest. READ MORE

Assemblyman Mike Sprinkle (D-Nev) is resigning following sexual harassment claims against him. READ MORE
