The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
3:20 P.M.
Henderson police say a K-9 officer was involved in a crash at Warm Springs Road and Marks Street. Three other vehicles were involved with the officer and a man transported to the hospital for medical treatment but expected to survive. The K-9 was reportedly OK in the collision with traffic delays expected at the intersection.
UPDATE 5 A.M.
Las Vegas police say they have a suspect in custody in connection to the New York-New York Hotel & Casino robbery overnight. It happened shortly after 2 a.m at the main cage. Police later identified the suspect as William R. Clark and he is facing charges that include robbery with a deadly weapon.
2:06 A.M.
Las Vegas police looking for the suspect of a robbery at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino main cage. It happened shortly after 2 a.m on Thursday. Police say a man left the scene with an undetermined amount of cash and he remains outstanding. There were no injuries reported. Anyone with information is asked to call authorities.
OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting between neighbors on Partridge Hill Street, near Durango Drive and Blue Diamond Road, shortly before midnight. Police say the shooting appears to have stemmed over an altercation earlier in the day, and that it escalated when one of the neighbors allegedly fired shots in the air. A man then shot his neighbor several times in the lower extremities. The suspected shooter is in custody, police say. The person who was shot was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Also, in an unrelated incident, police continue to search for 3-4 people possibly involved in a shooting in North Las Vegas Wednesday. Read more Las Vegas breaking news for June 10, 2020
