12:25 P.M.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says a tree has shorted out some wires on Fairway Circle near Washington Avenue and Valley View Boulevard - which is causing a power outage in the area. The department is reminding the community that a Red Flag Warning is in effect until 8 p.m. Read more about the Red Flag Warning here. To check the status of the power outage click here.

UPDATE 10:25 A.M.
Las Vegas police say the suspect related to a barricade situation on Thunderbolt Avenue, near Nellis and Las Vegas boulevards, has been taken into custody.

9:12 A.M.
Las Vegas police are responding to a stabbing and barricade situation on Thunderbolt Avenue, near Nellis and Las Vegas boulevards. Officers say a man was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. Swat and crisis negotiators are on scene. Avoid the area.

OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police are asking for help finding the driver in a hit-in-run crash late Monday night that left one person recovering from critical injuries. Police say the crash happened shortly before 10:45 p.m. on July 6 near Charleston and Las Vegas boulevards. READ MORE
