The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

11:43 P.M.
Police arrested a reckless driver after a pursuit near Boulder Highway and Desert Inn Road. A Toyota 4-door was seen exiting a parking lot in a reckless manner and officers attempted to stop the driver near Desert Inn and Ferndale. The driver attempted to ram the police car head on at one point during the pursuit. Officers broke off the pursuit when excessive speeds were reached. An air patrol unit was able to spot the vehicle though and saw the driver get out of the car. A perimeter was established, K9 was brought in and the driver was taken into custody in the yard of 65 Suzy Court.

8:52 P.M.
Las Vegas police believe a woman was killed by her husband. Police say that the man called 9-1-1 and said his wife shot herself but his story was suspicious. He has been arrested for murder. It happened on the 10000 block of Casselman Court near Cactus Avenue and Maryland Parkway.

8 A.M.
North Las Vegas police say that 25-year-old Delvon Holley, who went missing July 27, has been found and is safe.

5 A.M.
A Las Vegas police officer has been in a crash near Lamb and Charleston boulevards. The officer was transported to the hospital to be checked out. Another person was also transported to UMC Trauma in more serious condition. Road closures are in effect.
