The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9 P.M.
UPDATED (8/3/20): The Las Vegas County Coroner has identified the victim as 42-year-old Anthony Brian Donnell from Las Vegas. The victim's cause was a stab wound to the chest, a homicide.

A man is dead after he was stabbed multiple times in the 6000 block of Clark Street, near Boulder Highway and Tropicana Avenue, according to police. Officers said they believe the man knew his attacker and an argument had taken place before the stabbing. No arrests were immediately announced by authorities.

4:50 P.M.
RTC says the airport connector on-ramp closure continued.

1:25 P.M.
Las Vegas police responded to a critical crash that involved a vehicle and a motorcycle on Valley View Boulevard north of Russell Road. The motorcycle struck the right side of a 2011 Ford Edge when the vehicle was making a left turn. The motorcyclist was transported to UMC in critical condition with the driver of the Ford working with police.

10 A.M.
The RTC says the airport connector ramp remains closed at I-215 westbound at Warm Springs after shutting down shortly before 7 a.m. Use alternate routes.

6:46 A.M.
RTC reports the airport connector on-ramp is closed at I-215 westbound at Warm Springs. Expect delays.

5:30 A.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating reports of a shooting at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club on 300 E. Harmon Avenue. Lane closures are in effect as police investigate.

The department says officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 3 a.m. that occurred on the 28th floor of the Hilton Grand Vacation Club. Officers say they have five people detained as persons of interest. Approximately 12 rooms were checked by officers to ensure there were no victims. Some of the rooms that were checked had guests who were relocated to another location at the hotel.

Police have not found any people shot at this time. The circumstances that led up to the shooting are not yet known. Police say the investigation is in the early stages and ongoing.
