The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 1:35 P.M.
Police are sharing an update on a car-jacking that led to multiple road closures in Las Vegas.

12 P.M.
Some roads are closed as Las Vegas police try to recover a stolen car that began on Stewart Avenue near Bruce Street. The department says after someone car-jacked two vehicles, two different people crashed into a truck at the intersection of Lamb Boulevard and Carey Avenue. Both of those people are in custody and the investigation remains ongoing.

Road closures are as follows:

  • Colton Avenue and Lamb Boulevard
  • Cheyenne Avenue and Ables Lane
  • Cartier Avenue and Lamb Boulevard

UPDATE 6:47 A.M.
The RTC reports the off-ramp on Interstate 15 at Charleston Boulevard is now open after a crash briefly closed it.

5:27 A.M.
RTC reports a crash on the Interstate 15 southbound at Charleston Boulevard. The off-ramp is closed as a result. Expect delays.

OVERNIGHT
Police in Las Vegas say a teenager was shot in the arm during a house party on Canosa Avenue (near Eastern and St. Louis avenues). He is expected to survive. No arrests were made, police say.
