The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

2:50 P.M.
The 215 near Ann and Cheyenne has reopened in all directions.

1:15 P.M.
The 215 is closed between Lone Mountain and Ann Road because of police activity. Lone Mountain is also closed over the 215. According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the closure is because of a person threatening to kill themselves. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.

10:12 A.M.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Convention Center Area Command is currently on scene at a casino property, most likely the Bellagio, located in the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. LVMPD units along with Clark County Fire and Rescue are on scene investigating a possible drowning. The call originated at 10:12 a.m. and the Clark County Coroner’s Office has been advised.
