11 P.M.

Las Vegas homicide detectives are investigating after a man was pronounced dead by medical personnel at a residence near West Lake Mead Boulevard and D Street around 6:45 p.m. It was determined that the cause of the death may be unnatural. Interactive murder map

4 P.M.

Las Vegas police received a call of two hikers stranded on Sunrise Mountain after losing their rope. Metro Search and Rescue responded to reach them and get them to safety. No injuries are reported at this time.

3:30 P.M.

Traffic headed to California is backed up for several miles on Interstate 15.
