The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
10:45 P.M.
Las Vegas police officers responded to a call of a person being hit by an automobile near Charleston Boulevard and Sky Vista, near Red Rock Canyon.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Officers are currently conducting an investigation into the accident.
Police say in addition, because of the serious nature of the accident, their Fatal detectives have been notified and are responding.
Please avoid the area as the roads are closed.
