UPDATE: LVMPD says after the pursuit that ended at Las Vegas Boulevard and Windmill/Blue Diamond the man police were pursuing took his own life with a gun he had in the vehicle. The roads are now clear. Here is the press conference from police:
5 P.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department patrol units were looking for a person wanted for multiple crimes. After a valley-wide search, the vehicle was stopped at Las Vegas Blvd and Windmill/Blue Diamond. Las Vegas Blvd and Windmill are currently closed in all directions. This scene remains active and ongoing. Avoid the area.
The suspect is in custody and has been transported to the hospital.
