McCarran officials report a travel advisory was in effect at the airport due to weather conditions and heavy air traffic. McCarran Airport was experiencing arrival, and departure delays with gate holds from 45 minutes to 1-hour delays.

Jan. 9 UPDATE: The male driver of the Hyundai Accent involved in this deadly crash was identified as 32-year-old Richard James Pagett from Mojave Valley, Arizona. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to NHP.

OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to a 2nd fire in the home at 8225 Mt. Brodie Circle (Alta and Cimarron Road) overnight. It is not known what caused the fire at this time. No injuries have been reported.
