The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
6:15 P.M.
A 48-year-old female bicyclist is dead after being run over by a truck near Joe W. Brown Drive and Desert Inn Road. Police say the bicyclist was attempting to pass the truck on the right when the bike hit the truck as it was turning. The 36-year-old driver of the truck stayed on the scene. This is the 8th traffic-related fatality of the year. The Clark County coroner identified the woman on Jan. 14 as Stephanie Sierad, no city of residence listed.
4 P.M.
UPDATE: The person involved in the crash at East Lake Mead Boulevard and Lincoln Road has died at the hospital. The Las Vegas police department's fatal detail will be investigating.
3:03 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a crash at East Lake Mead Boulevard and Lincoln Road. One person was transported to the hospital with a serious injury. The intersection is closed while they wait for an update on the person's condition.
7 A.M.
Police now say two men were shot on Dean Martin Drive. It is not known why at this time. Both are expected to survive but no other information was given.
4:37 A.M.
Police say a man was found with a serious gunshot wound at 4275 Dean Martin Drive.
