Las Vegas police put out a traffic alert for the northbound and westbound lanes at South Durango Drive and West Windmill Lane. These lanes are closed due to a crash. Police say it was just two cars involved with no actual injuries. Please avoid the area while police investigate.

5:42 A.M.
Las Vegas firefighters responded to a fire downtown on South 6th Street near Las Vegas Boulevard and Carson Avenue. Officials say the building that caught fire is boarded up and vacant. No injuries were reported.

OVERNIGHT
North Las Vegas Fire Department says six people are without a home and two animals are dead following a house fire on Austin Pale Avenue, near Azure Avenue and Pecos Road. Firefighters say crews discovered smoke and flames coming from the garage upon arrival shortly after midnight. The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported to the people living in the home or to firefighters.
Red Cross is helping those displaced, the department says Clark County Fire Department assisted with the fire, which remains under investigation.
