7:40 P.M.
The Nevada Highway Patrol reported a crash occurred on the 215 Beltway near Cheyenne Avenue after a speeding car slammed into a cement truck; non-life-threatening injuries were reported in the collision.
Speeding can be hazardous to your health! This cement truck was disabled in the right shoulder at 215/Cheyenne. The car was speeding, lost control and spun out. 12:16 P.M.
Las Vegas police are on the scene of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian near Sunset Road and Gilespie Street.
The police later said that it was a 53-year-old man walking on a sidewalk who was struck by a 2016 Kia Sportage. The Clark County Coroner's office identified the man as Daniel Arredondo-Garcia, of Washington.
A 38-year-old female driver of the Kia was not impaired. However, it was not immediately known why her vehicle left the road and hit the pedestrian.
6:36 P.M.
Chopper 13 is over a crash at Pueblo Boulevard and Boulder Highway. Roads are closed in the area, plan for extra time on your commute.
