The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 3/5/2020:
In regards to the homicide investigation at a truck stop at I-15 and US-93 in Apex. Mark Doocy, 60-years-old, from Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, was arrested after his car was spotted at a Flying J Truck Stop in Webster Township, Minnesota.

Officers with the Rice County Sheriff's Office spotted his vehicle and after running the plates saw an alert that the owner was wanted in connection to a murder that happened on Feb. 28 in Las Vegas. There was a brief struggle with getting Doocy out of the vehicle and a chemical aerosol was used. He was later taken to a local hospital. Doocy is in custody at the hospital until he is cleared to be transported to the Rice County Jail. He is being held on the Nevada homicide warrant pending extradition hearing.

Christina Aguilera was forced to cancel Friday's show due to "severe technical difficulties that could not be remedied."

4:57 P.M.
Las Vegas police said they are conducting a homicide investigation at a truck stop at I-15 and US-93 in Apex. Detectives said a man was shot and killed behind the truck stop by a person who he had hired to do previous work. The gunman was not immediately in custody.

8:41 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responding to a house fire at 1916 Leona Street near West Lake Mead Boulevard and D Street. 1 adult and 2 children displaced. No injuries reported.
