3:22 P.M.

One person is dead after a shooting at the 4000 block of Overbrook Drive, near Alexander Road and U.S. Highway 95. READ MORE.

11:48 A.M.

Firefighters were called to the scene of a garage fire at 5720 North Campbell Road, near Ann and Fort Apache roads, around 11:48 a.m. No injuries were reported. Officials are still investigating the cause.

11:40 A.M.

A vehicle crashed head-on into an RTC bus at the intersection near Washington Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says that two people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

11:08 A.M.

Officials are investigating a shooting involving a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer. The incident happened near Decatur Boulevard and Vegas Drive. Drivers are advised to avoid the intersection while the investigation is being conducted. READ MORE.

OVERNIGHT

Two model homes caught fire around 3:05 a.m. at 6400 Guy Summit Avenue. The 2-alarm fire took 40 minutes to put out. No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation and damage has not been estimated.
