The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:15 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Craig Road, near Jadestone Avenue. Police said a person was hit and killed by a vehicle at that location. The Clark County coroner's office identified the person as 51-year-old Chris D'Elia, of Las Vegas. Authorities did not provide any further immediate information from the scene.

7:40 P.M.
Las Vegas police are at the Bonanza Gift Shop at 2460 South Las Vegas Blvd., near Sahara Avenue, with reports of an agitated woman inside the store with a knife. Officers evacuated the store to make contact with the woman. READ MORE

8 A.M.
Clark County School District Police Department says that a threat against Desert Oasis High School was circulating over the weekend on social media. The threat was written on a bathroom wall. CCSD PD says they have been unable to find the person who wrote it. They sent extra officers to the school this morning and will be at the school for the remainder of the day.

1:44 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responding to a 2-alarm fire in a vacant building at 307 S. Main Street. No injuries reported. Arson investigators responding. Fire took 45 minutes to bring under control. The vacant building is one of the oldest in downtown Las Vegas and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
