The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

3 P.M.
Police continue their investigation into a shooting near Buffalo and Westcliff Drives where a woman was transported to the hospital in the incident. READ MORE

1 P.M.
Las Vegas police say a woman was shot multiple times at the Marquesa Condos. Family members on the scene say she is currently in surgery.

11:30 A.M.
The northbound lanes of Interstate 15 is still closed near Charleston Boulevard because of a fatal crash. Nevada Highway Patrol says they expect the interstate to reopen at approximately 2 p.m.

11:13 A.M.
Las Vegas police are currently on the scene of a shooting near Westcliff Drive between Buffalo Drive and Tenaya Way. At this time it appears one victim has been shot multiple times. The victim is being transported to University Medical Center in unknown condition. A suspect is not in custody at this time. Please avoid the area.

4:27 A.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue says one person is dead after a fire in a vacant building at 2019 Paradise Road near St. Louis Avenue. LVFR said in a press release that a caller notified them about the fire around 4:05 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the rear of a one-story office building. When they tried to enter the building, they discovered a padlocked door. Once they were inside, they found a man who was already deceased. Damage has been estimated at $35,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Clark County coroner will identify the man.

4:21 A.M.
Nevada Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal crash on Interstate 15 near Charleston Boulevard. NHP says a vehicle was traveling the wrong way and hit a semi-truck trailer. The northbound lanes are closed and traffic is being diverted. Expect major delays. READ FULL STORY.
