Highway NV-160 eastbound at Pahrump to Las Vegas is closed due to black ice. Avoid the area.

2:30 P.M.
Las Vegas police are on the scene of an incident near East Warm Springs Road and South Spencer Street. Lt. Ray Spencer says that a man was shot and killed during a resident burglary. Police say a man was trying to break into a home near Magic Moment Lane and Knoll View Drive when someone inside the house shot him. He then got into a car and drove away before crashing two blocks away from the home. The man later died.
