The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
8:20 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting on Wengert Avenue, near Eastern Avenue and Charleston Boulevard. Police say one victim was found, but did not specify details on possible injuries. There are road closures on Crestwood Avenue between Sweeny Avenue and Houston Drive. Police say they were notified of the shooting by ShotSpotter.

4:50 P.M.
Las Vegas police say Fatal Investigators are responding to a hit-and-run crash near Pecos Road and Harmon Avenue. Police say a woman was trying to cross Harmon when she was hit by an older model SUV. The SUV did not stop and sped off eastbound on Harmon, police say. The woman was then ran over by another driver who did not see the woman lying in the road. That driver remained on scene. The woman was not in a marked crosswalk when the crash occurred, according to authorities. It is believed the hit-and-run driver was driving an early model Ford SUV, silver or gold in color.
3:30 P.M.
Las Vegas police say they are investigating a deadly crash in the northwest part of Las Vegas. The crash happened on Corbett Street near Ann Road and the 215. No road closures are reported at this time. The deceased was later identified as 75-year-old Delane Albert Bertsch of Las Vegas.
2:51 P.M.
Las Vegas police report they are investigating a fatal crash near Tropical Parkway and Hualapai Way. No major road closures were initially reported but the crash scene remained under investigation.
1:11 P.M.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue is on the scene of a fire at 7255 William Anders Ave. near Charleston Boulevard and Buffalo Drive. LVFR is reporting heavy fire in the interior.
