The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:25 P.M.
North Las Vegas Police Department on the scene of a crash between a truck and a motorcycle at Cheyenne Avenue and Clayton Street. Motorcyclist sent to UMC Hospital in critical condition. Police say speed was a factor in the crash. It is unknown if impairment played a role in the crash. Avoid the area.

12:30 P.M.
UPDATE AUG. 19: The Clark County Coroner has identified the man as 91-year-old Leo Vandon from Las Vegas. His death was the result of blunt force trauma and it has been ruled an accident.

Las Vegas police say a 91-year-old man is dead after a crash around 8:30 a.m. on Sundial Drive east of the intersection with Del Webb Boulevard. Officers say the man's car hit an unoccupied parked car. He was transported to Summerlin Hospital where he died. The man's identity will be released by the coroner.

This death marks the 58th traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department jurisdiction for the year 2020. This crash remains under investigation.

11:12 A.M.
Police officers in Henderson are investigating a body found on Equestrian Drive near Magic Way around 10 a.m.

UPDATE 5:52 A.M.
Police officers say the police activity is related to a reported sexual assault. According to the department, a woman at the Sahara reported a sexual assault and as the suspect tried to get away he pulled the fire alarm. That suspect is in custody. The woman said she did not want to file a report.

5:30 A.M.
There is some police activity near the Venetian right now. 13 Action News has reached out to police for an update on what is going on but has yet to hear back. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.

Developing: Police activity near the Venetian

Late Saturday night, police officers were also at the hotel after someone was stabbed. That person is expected to recover. No arrests were made in that incident. READ MORE HERE
