5:30 P.M.
One man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting at a home on Yellowstone Avenue, near Lake Mead and Nellis boulevards, according to Las Vegas police. Police responded to reports of the incident shortly after 4:30 p.m. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. Police say at this time it is unclear if or how the man in custody is involved with the shooting. Homicide Detectives are on scene investigating the incident. READ MORE

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue respond to fire in 2-story home at 8105 Cimarron Ridge Drive. Occupants were able to get out. The fire has been knocked down. No word yet on possible cause.
