6:00 P.M.
Update (5/5/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim who was found at the scene and pronounced deceased as 27-year-old Joshua Blane Thomas. The cause of death was gunshot wounds to the torso, homicide.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives are responding to an incident that occurred shortly after 6 p.m. near Washington Avenue and Spyglass Lane (near Decatur Boulevard). This is a developing story.
OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police say a woman remains in critical condition at UMC Trauma after she was hit by a van near Flamingo Road and Koval Lane around 7:30 p.m. on April 4. Police say she was not inside a marked crosswalk when she was hit and that the driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. The crash remains under investigation.
