Las Vegas police have made an arrest in connection with a murder on Jan. 25 near Maryland Parkway and Russell Road.

The barricade is over. Police have taken one person into custody.
10 A.M.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating a barricade in the area of Oil Lantern Lane and Shady Lane. LVMPD officers attempted to make a person stop on a possible robbery suspect in the 800 block of South Rainbow Blvd. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle and entered his residence located near Oil Lantern Lane and Shady Lane. The suspect is currently refusing to exit the residence. Expect heavy police activity in the area.
