The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
9:42 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a crash between a motorcycle with two riders and a Ford Mustang at South Decatur Boulevard and West Oakey Boulevard. Both motorcycle riders were ejected following the crash. One rider died at the scene and the other rider was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Mustang was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
2:05 A.M.
Police say a man was shot in the chest near 7th and Fremont Street around 2 a.m. He was transported to a local hospital and was stable at last check. No one has been arrested at this time.
