Update (5/11/20): The Clark County Coroner has idenified the pedestrian that was killed as 55-year-old Santos George Capon. The cause of death was blunt force trauma, an accident.

UPDATE APRIL 24:
The Clark County Coroner has identified the two men killed in Thursday's crash as 23-year-old Timothy Alexander McDaniel and 52-year-old Sergey Tipkin from North Las Vegas.

Nevada Highway Patrol reports a fatal crash on Summerlin Parkway at Anasazi Drive. Two people were killed in the collision with road closures at the 215 Beltway NB to Summerlin Parkway EB, according to troopers.

The incident in Henderson is over. Police say they have taken the person into custody.
2 P.M.
Henderson Police are on the scene of a barricade near Green Valley Parkway and Sunset Road. The incident began around 1:10 p.m. Police believe the individual may be armed. Las Vegas police are assisting. They are asking the public to avoid the area. Access to a shopping center in the area has been restricted. Westbound Sunset traffic at Green Valley Parkway is also shut down.

UPDATE 7:04 A.M.
Most customers impacted by a power outage in the 89014 ZIP code this morning that began around 2 a.m. have had their power restored, according to NV Energy. Around 5:30 a.m. over 1,000 customers were impacted. As of right now, 35 are still impacted. You can find updates at NVEnergy.com.
6 A.M.
North Las Vegas Police are investigating a shooting involving one of its police officers that happened shortly after 6 a.m. in the 700 block of East Nelson near Donna Street and Carey Avenue. Police say that the other person involved in the shooting is dead and an officer is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No other information is available at this time. READ FULL STORY.

NV Energy reports 1,482 customers are impacted by a power outage in Henderson right now. The cause of the outage is listed as damage to equipment and was reported around 2 a.m. The 89014 is the ZIP code impacted.
