The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:56 P.M.
A 65-year-old man is dead after being hit near intersection of Jones Boulevard and Twain Avenue. Police say the man was walking in the travel lane and the driver tried to avoid hitting the man. The driver stayed at scene and was not impaired. This is 14th traffic-related fatality this year.

2:19 P.M.
Police say the driver of the bus who hit a women just after 6 a.m. today was arrested. This happened near Krueger Drive and Koval Lane, behind the Venetian hotel-casino. The woman was brought to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

1:15 P.M.
41-year-old Eddie Day has been missing since about 6 .m. Feb. 7 in North Las Vegas. Police say he was in town to visit family and is not familiar with area. He has severe memory loss and gets lost very easily. He was wearing a black and gray jacket and jeans when he disappeared. Last seen in area of Craig Road and Clayton Street. Call police at 702-633-9111 if you see him.

UPDATE FEB. 15: Eddie Day, 41, was located in Henderson. Police said he was found in good health and thanked the public for their attention.

10 A.M.
Heavy rain is causing numerous issues around the Las Vegas valley. Flooding has closed a major intersection and resulted in several swift water rescues. READ MORE.

6:02 A.M.
Police say a woman is dead after being hit by a bus behind the Venetian hotel this morning. The incident happened near Krueger Drive and Koval Lane. The woman reportedly died from her injuries at hospital.
