6:11 P.M.
Police say a motorcycle and a car crashed into each other at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Christy Lane. The motorcyclist later died at the hospital. The intersection is shut down while officials investigate.

3:38 P.M.
Firefighters battled a 2-alarm apartment fire at 4835 Cleopatra Avenue, near Cheyenne Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. No injuries were reported, and the fire is currently under investigation.
1:41 P.M.
Henderson firefighters are at the scene of a brush fire near Galleria Drive and Marks Street that began around 12:45 p.m. Crews say they're having trouble getting to the fire as it spreads. More information to come.
