11:35 P.M.

A 19-year-old North Las Vegas man was arrested and charged with arson by Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Arson Investigators after a fire occurred Tuesday in a dumpster where he works.  The suspect was taken to the Clark County Detention Center.
 
Ramesh D. Graham was charged with one count of Arson Third Degree.
 
Las Vegas firefighters responded to a dumpster fire at 8:52 p.m. at the AM/PM Arco station at 6775 N. Durango Drive on Tuesday.  When firefighters arrived,  a recycle dumpster was on fire.  It was quickly extinguished. The fire did not damage the store.
 
The fire was captured on video. Graham, an employee at the store, was seen starting the fire. Arson investigators went to his home in North Las Vegas to talk to him. He was then arrested and taken to CCDC.
 
The incident remains under investigation.

11:30 P.M.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue has increased the number displaced in the Stewart Avenue and 13th Street fire to at least 10 people.

The fire caused heavy damage to two units on the second floor. The other units in the building had slight to no damage.  Damage is estimated at $80,000.
 
The cause of the fire is undetermined. Smoking could not be ruled out. The fire appears to have started on the balcony of one of the upstairs apartments outside.
 
One person suffered a slight head injury. They were treated on scene by fire paramedics; they refused to be taken to the hospital to be checked out.

8:55 P.M.

The suspect in an earlier kidnapping on Mendocino Forest Street was taken into custody.

6:52 P.M. 

A 2-story apartment building caught fire near Stewart Avenue and 13th Street. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue first arrived at the scene around 6 p.m. and had the fire out an hour later. Four adults were displaced, and the cause is under investigation.

5:30 P.M.

LVMPD officers and detectives are currently investigating a kidnapping stemming from a family disturbance which occurred earlier this afternoon in the 3300 block of Mendocino Forest Street, near Desert Inn and Theme roads. Police said a man using a firearm in a threatening manner, reportedly forced his wife into a vehicle. During the incident, the male fired one shot but it is unknown if anyone was injured. Evidence at the scene suggests that the couple’s 15-year-old son may also be in the car.
 
The LVMPD is currently searching for the vehicle which was described as a black Cadillac CTS bearing Nevada license plate LUVEBUG.

6:30 A.M.

A single car crash send a car into the embankment on 215 eastbound on ramp at Pecos.

4:15 A.M.

Police are investigating a homicide near Sahara & Eastern. Investigators say a man was shot about four times. No one has been arrested.
