This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for July 26, 2017.

7:06 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating the stabbing of a woman and a 4-year-old child in a neighborhood near W. Pebble Road and S. Durango Drive.  According to LVMPD, the woman's estranged ex-boyfriend entered the residence and stabbed both people before fatally stabbing himself.  The child was transported to Southern Hills Hospital where the 4-year-old succumbed to its injuries.  The child's mother was transported to UMC and is still alive in unknown condition.

12:50 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating the death of a 4-year-old child at the Siegel Suites, located at 3625 Boulder Highway, south of Sahara Avenue. The call originally came in as a medical call to the fire department around 12:50 p.m. The child was transported to Sunrise Pediatrics where the 4-year-old was declared deceased. Las Vegas police's Abuse and Neglect was called to investigate as procedure. The cause of death is unknown at this time.

10:40 A.M.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responds to report of fire in 2000 block of Jeffery Pines Street near Rancho Drive.

7 A.M.

A man was attacked reportedly with a baseball bat by another person in a domestic incident in the 1600 block of Lewis Avenue, near 16th Street. READ MORE.
