Northbound I-15 north of Goodsprings Road in Jean is closed due to a fatal crash involving a car going the wrong way and a tractor trailer. Northbound traffic is being diverted onto Las Vegas Blvd at Jean. Avoid the area.

Las Vegas police are on scene of a fatal crash near Peak and Buffalo Drives. Buffalo Drive is closed between Trinity Peak Ave and Peak Drive. Police say a man driving an SUV northbound on Buffalo hit a car pulling out from a private drive. The driver of the SUV died at UMC. He was not wearing his seat belt.
The Clark County coroner's office identified the deceased as 56-year-old Lee Cummings of Las Vegas on Dec. 23. His cause of death is still pending.

North Las Vegas police say that 11-year-old Alyssia Brown has been located and is in good health.
7:35 A.M.
North Las Vegas police are asking for help in finding missing 11-year-old Alyssia Brown. She was last seen at her home near Commerce Street and Alexander Road around 5 p.m. Friday. The girl is 4-feet 11-inches tall and weighs 82 pounds. Police worked through the night, attempting to locate the child. Contact NLVPD at 702-633-9111 if you know where she is.

A three-story apartment caught on fire early this morning on 9th Street between Ogden and Stewart avenues. Firefighters say people were seen jumping from windows. 4 people are dead and several are injured. READ MORE.
