More parking is coming to the greater downtown Las Vegas area.
Mayor Carolyn Goodman celebrated the start of construction on two new parking garages coming to Symphony Park. The project costs $33 million.
The garage on Parcel B is set to be completed in August 2019 and will feature 694 parking spaces and 23,370 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The garage on Parcel L is scheduled to be completed in September 2019 and will feature 569 spaces and 5,841 square feet of ground-floor retail.
Symphony Park is right next to The Smith Center.
