New memorial honors cyclists killed in crash near Boulder City

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Today, a new memorial honors five cyclists who were killed on the U.S. 95 near Boulder City last month.

The new Las Vegas 5 Ghost Bike memorial sits in the south parking lot of the Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin.

It was dedicated to the crash victims in a ceremony earlier today.

Ghost Bikes Las Vegas create these white bike memorials along with a small plaque any time a cyclist is killed.

They hope it will help remind drivers to look out for riders and ultimately to help save lives.
