A new initiative is focusing on fostering the growth and success of local middle school students.
Twenty-five sixth-grade students are now part of a new program started by software development company Informatica.
Informatica partnered with the Public Education Foundation and Cashman Middle School to help guide the students through their education. The idea is to prepare students for careers in science, technology, engineering, and math, or really, anything else these students have set their sights on.
The program is more than just classes. It includes genius camps, a college scholarship, and focused support for the entire family.
