New expo center to be built in downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A groundbreaking is scheduled for Jan. 28 on a new expo center in downtown Las Vegas.

The new facility near the World Market Center will allow downtown Las Vegas to host larger-scale trade shows, conventions and more.

It will cost taxpayers about $30 million. It is set to open in the summer of 2020.
