A new map from World Series of Poker (WSOP) shows the top 10 states for poker players. Some of these may surprise you.
The map is based on information from the World Series of Poker player database, and adjusted for per capita (Casino Insider put together the data for the map).
This is representative of the top 1,000 ranked players and their birthplace.
The top 10 professional poker producing states are:
1. Nevada
2. New York
3. Washington
4. New Jersey
5. New Hampshire
6. Kansas
7. Maryland
8. Michigan
9. Louisiana
10. Delaware
