It sounds like a Hollywood story-line, but it's happening for real in Nevada.
Longtime Republican activist Tony Dane has been indicted for allegedly trying to extort Assemblyman Chris Edwards into changing his vote for assembly speaker.
Dane's charges also include illegally recording phone calls between lawmakers.
13 action news was there when Dane's home in Las Vegas was raided last year in connection with the investigation.
Dane is also facing charges of perjury and filing false documents.
