Nevada Gov. Sisolak hopes Trump campaign will comply with state's COVID-19 guidelines

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — President Donald Trump is scheduled to host two upcoming weekend events in Nevada and the state's governor spoke about the current pandemic guidelines in place.

Trump will hold the "Great American Comeback Events" in Reno on Sept. 12 and in Las Vegas on Sept. 13.

President Trump coming to Nevada for 2 campaign events

Tuesday, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak told 13 Action News that he hasn't heard from the campaign just yet but hopes the planned events will comply with the state's COVID-19 guidelines and large-gathering capacity limits.

Gov. Sisolak also said the White House has informed him numerous times on recommending gatherings having no more than 10 in attendance and plan on touching base before the weekend.
