A health alert for anyone who uses their phone before bed: A study by BYU Research found turning your phone on night mode won't help you sleep any better.

The study found people who slept better simply didn't use their phone at all before bed.

The results suggest the blue light or "night mode" is not what's causing people to lose sleep.

Instead, it's the stimulation of social media or texting with friends.
