NATIONAL (KTNV) — Studies show too much screen time for children is linked to several health issues including poor sleep, worsened mental health and reduced physical activity.
Dr. Megan Moreno, an adolescent medicine physician, says the pandemic is making it hard to cut down on screen time since many students are learning from home.
In her new study released in the journal of the American Medical Association, Dr. Moreno suggests families create a media use plan.

She also suggests stopping phone use an hour before bedtime and having an area of the home that is tech-free.
