The latest CDC data shows more than 38 million people in the U.S. have gotten one or more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

However, new research shows some people still want to wait to get their shot.

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, 31% of the public say they plan to wait to see how the vaccine is working for other people before getting the shot.

Health experts say that without more taking the shot it will be tough to reach herd immunity.

About 60% of those surveyed say they'd be more likely to get vaccinated if it was the quickest way for life to return to normal.
