Joe Biden says Bernie Sanders will endorse Hillary Clinton

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has made it abundantly clear that he sees his presidential bid going all the way up to the Democratic National Convention in July.

But then what?

While Sanders is still in the race, it was recently revealed that Sanders’ campaign had been talking to Clinton’s campaign about mutual goals.

And according to Vice President Joe Biden, Sanders plans to endorse competitor Hillary Clinton – the party’s presumptive nominee – for president.

Biden said Thursday that he had spoken to Sanders and received confirmation about the endorsement, but there was no word on when that would endorsement would come.

The revelation was made during Biden’s sit-down interview with NPR’s Rachel Martin (listen below).

“Oh, I’ve talked to Bernie, Bernie’s going to endorse her, this is going to work out,” Biden told Martin in an interview set to air this weekend. “The Democrats are coalescing even before this occurs.”

Just last week, Sanders told supporters that he would continue his “political revolution.”

While Sanders has vowed to vote for Clinton in November, his endorsement has yet to come – a delay he attributes to not hearing her say “the things I need to hear said,” Time reported.
