Gender pay gap worse for women of color

The gap in pay is even wider for women of color.

The National Women's Law Center says it takes a Black woman 8 months to earn the same amount as a white man.

That means over a 40 year career she could lose an average of $900,000.

But at the same time, the doors of opportunity are opening up for Black women with more companies looking to make diverse hires.
