Today is Denim Day. It is an international event to support sexual assault survivors.

The day started back in 1999 in response to an Italian rape conviction that was overturned because judges felt the victim's tight jeans was the reason for the assault.

Every year, the Rape Crisis Center hosts a fundraiser to mark the occasion but this year there will not be an in-person event.

Instead the center asks you to wear denim and donate to help survivors.
