NAB cancels Las Vegas show in April, looking into 'potential alternatives'

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The National Association of Broadcasters has canceled its annual conference in Las Vegas amid coronavirus concerns.

Wednesday's announcement comes on the same day the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.

The 2020 NAB Show was scheduled for April at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

On the NAB Show website, the organization says it is "currently considering a number of potential alternatives to create the best possible experience for our community."
