UPDATE: A total of nine vehicles were involved in this accident. Three people were transported to the hospital but no critical injuries were reported.
The roadway was reopened around 6:10 p.m. Wednesday.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Police are on the scene of a serious crash that involves several vehicles.
It was reported on Wednesday around 3:31 p.m. near Desert Inn and Paradise Roads.
The Clark County Fire Department responded 2 engines, 1 truck, 1 rescue, and 1 battalion chiefs which included resources from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue.

Upon arrival, personnel reported a rollover traffic accident with 4 vehicles involved.
Firefighters had to extricate 1 person who was trapped.
There were 3 patients total reported and one of the patients was transported in critical condition to Sunrise Hospital.
It is unknown the condition of the other two patients and if there was a need to be transported.
Desert Inn is shut down between Paradise Road and Swenson Street.
