It appears Las Vegas' newest arena doesn't want to get power from NV Energy.
As the Madison Square Garden Sphere at The Venetian is looking to work with an alternative electricity provider for the futuristic venue, according to documents obtained from the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada.
The sphere project is a partnership between MSG and the Las Vegas Sands, who has had previous discussions about leaving the power company.
