A motorcyclist is critically injured after a crash on Friday.
It was reported around 4:10 p.m. near Jones Boulevard and Russell Road. Investigators say a motorcyclist and a Jeep collided. The rider was taken to UMC Trauma with critical injuries.
Evidence at the scene suggests that the Jeep was turning left on a yellow flashing signal while the motorcyclist sped through a red light, striking the Jeep.
The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment.
