Rosemarie Melanson has spent 131 days in the hospital. But her streak in a hospital bed finally ended Friday morning.
"It's been a long long journey and I'm happy to get home today," said Rosemarie.
Rosemarie was surrounded by her four children, friends and family as she walked out of Kindred Hospital.
Since the shooting, Rosemarie had undergone multiple surgeries and was even put on life support for 8 weeks.

Her daughter Paige Melanson has been at her mother's side since the moment she watched her get shot during the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
"It's been an endless roller coaster ride from day one," Paige said.
Rosemarie and Paige credit their survival to a Los Angeles Firefighter named Don who helped the two get to safety. While Paige has been able to talk to Don since the shooting Rosemarie hasn't met him yet.
"I can't wait to meet you in person. I could never express my gratitude for saving my life. You're the one who saved it," Rosemarie said.
Rosemarie said she does plan to meet with Don soon. She will have to undergo another surgery and continue rehab, but this mother is looking at the future stronger than ever.
"The worst part is behind me now, now it's just about getting stronger and stronger," Rosemarie said.
