The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted murder and suicide Tuesday.
Police responded to an RV resort in Mohave Valley for a report of a shooting. Officers then determined a person living at the park walked into the office and shot a man.
The man was flown by helicopter to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with a gunshot injury. The victim is in critical condition.
Further investigations have determined that the suspect had an ongoing dispute with Billy Smith, 60, who is also a tenant at the park.
The suspect left the park office after getting upset with Smith and he went to his residence in the park and retrieved a handgun, police said. The suspect proceeded back to the office where he shot Smith in the head.
The suspect then returned to his residence and sat down in a chair outside of his residence where he shot and killed himself. A handgun was seized at the scene.
